I'm trying to build a dual extruder setup, except that each extruder is a mixing hotend with 6 extruders.
What is the easiest approach? 12 separate drivers and only switching step und dir signals with additional transistors on extruder change?
Since I plan to print with only one mixing hotend at a time ist there a clever way to just mirror the motors in firmware, so I only have to set the
enable pin high for the respective mixing hotend? (while step and dir get send all the time to both mixing hotend)

Just looking for a general direction here.
