Hi

just commissioning reprappro Huxley using pronterface on windows 7 but the SD card issue is bugging me.

Why does it say "SD init fail"?

The instructions say this might happen & don't also worry about it but don't explain it or offer any solutons.

anyone know what is what?

One reason is no card in the sd card reader.

The card is in situ so, perhaps it is the card then.

Is your SD card formatted?
FAT16? FAT32? OTHER?
