Huxley - Wiring (Step 7: Heated bed signal wires)

My name Heri, from Semarang, Indonesia. I am a newcomer, and I have difficulty in assembling Huxley in the wiring on the heated bed.

I am attaching a picture, an image A to image B will continue with a description of numbers on the cable. I do not quite understand the guidelines.

I want to ask, where are the cables connected? Thank you.

I hope that tiny ribbon cable is not used to connect the heated bed power ? It would melt !

What electronics are you using ?

Thank you for responding to me. Well I would not connect the cables to the heated bed power. I use Melzi Electronics. I do not know where to connect the four cables, which are to Btemp and / or to BED.

This looks like a RepRapPro Huxley so you may be best looking through posts on their dedicated support site but here is my input ....

Wire labelled '1' Is not currently used. The intention is that this will be used as part of a bed levelling probe sensor arrangement
Wire 2 This is a signal wire which controls the MOSFET connected to the heat bed. This pin will end up on one of the expansion pins of your electronics - have you got a MELZI board or a Sanguinololu?
Wire 3 This is the heated bed thermistor signal wire (BTEMP)
Wire 4 Is a ground connection and will go to your bed thermistor connector next to wire 3

EDIT: On the MELZI, the heated bed signal wire will go to the expansion connector pin which is second on the left, top row.

I have been practicing the explanation given by Alzibiff, by providing a photo attachment.

Wire 1: The unused wire,
wire 2: to a pin on the expansion headers,
wire 3: connected to Btemp,
wire 4: connect to Btemp - ground connection.

Please corrected if there is something wrong with what I do, thank you.
