Vas, bumps and cracks

Hi,

Sorry if I do not exactly use those words. I am trying to print a vase with a smaller scale, height 5 cm, such as at this address [www.thingiverse.com]. The two images (left and center) there is a kind of, what it's called, cracks. Rightmost picture, I felt 'cracks' that can be lost after making a 2 mm thick, but it remains there as a bulge.

I use the printer Huxley, pronterface, the existing settings which Huxley-PLA-05-03. Is it possible to 'crack and bulge' is gone?

I asked for help from you guys, thank you.

Regards,
Heri

It would guess this is related with your slicing software setup. What are you using, slic3r, skeinforge, something else ?

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

Hi DeuxVis, I use Skeinforge, how do I change the settings?

I'm not 100% sure as skeinforge has a lot of parameters, but playing with the "Clip" module could help from what I see on your pictures.

See [fabmetheus.crsndoo.com] for a somewhat detailed description of its parameters.
