My thermocouple grounded out and broke today during testing.... is there an alternative one I can purchase somewhere?

I successfully used that in the past - cut it to about the same length as the original and twisted one side ends together.

Make sure to insulate the end with kapton for instance.

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

I found some k type in the states and ordered it.

Will post results and supplier after testing. It was 99 cents a foot but costed me 3 dollars to ship.
