Hey everybody,

I have a little question concerning repsnapper. When I use it to generate gCode, it always creates one path that reaches far beyond my machine surface. So it starts for instance making my part and then suddenly it moves off to nowhere (and then of course it cause my machine to block and i have to shut it down cause it would just keep on going)
Has anybody else had this problem as well? I hope I'm being clear enough.

thanks a lot in advance,

Brecht(el)

I have too used RepSnapper to generate gcode and I've seen this problem. it's an issue with the stl file and repsnapper interpreting it.

The way to spot if you have a bad stl/repsnapper model is: after you generate the gcode, if there are any yellow/purple streaks away from your model, thats where your printhead will end up trying to move.

I've moved on to using skeinforge for my gcode generation, while using RepSnapper to send it.
