Anyone used RAMPS with easydriver stepper controlers?

The Pololu (as used by RAMPS) and the EasyDriver have a different pin layout, the easy driver board wouldn't fit a RAMPS mounting point

fitting a mounting point is not that big an issue, manualy wiring some plugs is not that big a deal.

I initialy thought a steper controller was a steper controller, but looking at the two I'm seeing that the Pololu has an extra ms3 that the easydriver one does not...

was hoping I could use the easydriver as I can order them localy. and since I wanted to have a play around with an arduino anyway I'd bought a mega.

looks like I'm going to have to re-think my electrics.

You can use the easydrivers to run your motors.

The MS3 pin is used to set 1/16 microstep, and is not required. 1/8 is suitable.

You can use the RAMPS schematic as a reference to wire up your own thermistor circuit and heater mosfets also.

I'll give RAMPS + easydrivers a go then.
I also like the extra axis that RAMPS gives.
