Filament auto-feed problem

Hi everyone,

My issue is: i want to build filament feeder like ultimaker 2. but i don't know how can i connect stepper motor wires to the ramps 1.4.

My extruder doesn't pull the filament from the filament spool holder. i use this type filament holder: [www.thingiverse.com]

Do you think my extruder motor has a problem?

This is just a extruder that is connected to the hot end by what is knows as a bowden cable (teflon tube)

The extruder motor is connected to the E0 port of the ramps, via the standard pololu stepper drivers.

I suspect your after an aditional motor... this is not easy to do, as you have to make sure it is in sync with the extruder, not to fast or to slow, and if there is any slipage your in real trouble...

I would look for ways to reduce friction in your spool system.
