I'm currently planning to build a 3D printer revolving around the ramps 1.4 control board, but I would like the option to utilize more drivers for more extruders and z-motors (3 Z lead screw for Core XY to support large bed).
I found this driver expansion that would work for my application with this link. (http://www.reprap.org/wiki/Stepper_Expander)
Does anyone know how the ramps board will distribute power to this expansion board? Will it have the same voltage and current and work the same as the original stepper drive ports on the Ramps 1.4?
