How to power 5v to servos (without the VCC-5V jumper)

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to install the BlTouch on the RAMPS, but when I connect it, the board starts to reboot (sometimes I'm lucky and I can check if the 3 axis move, but 90% of the time keeps rebooting). Reading through internet, I found that Arduino clones manages pretty bad the 12v to 5v conversion.

So, how can I power that 5v pin in a safe way? Keeping all the time the Arduino powered by USB at the same time the RAMPS is powered by 12v current? Modifing a 5v USB cable to match that 5v pin? I attach an image from one of the threads they talk about a similar issue.

The threat: Printer restarts when bltouch deploys

Just above the 5v pin is a two pin 12v always on plug (not always populated)

use a 12v to 5v converter of your choice to generate 5v
a standard 7805 would do it.
put the output of your 12 to 5v to the 5v pin

Thank you very much for the reply!
I ended up feeding the arduino with 5v via USB port and keeping the jumper con VCC-5v pins on RAMPS. I've done some prints and works perfectly fine (bed leveling works fine). It's not the best solution, but I think I'm going to change electronics in the near future (skr boards are getting popular).
