RamBo board hotend resting temp 66 deg

I have searched all over but cannot find a previous post for this.

My hotend resting temp is 66 deg cel??? I switched thermistors with my heated bed, that reports the correct temperature without change.

How can I verify if this is a board issue or config issue??

Please help

Are they two different type of thermistors? sounds like they are? If they are identical, one is most likely bad. If they are different, you probably don't have the correct type of thermistor/thermocouple selected for your hotend in your firmware.

They are from the same vendor.

Also, when I switched the heated bed (working) to the hot end I get the same reading.

I verified the settings in the firmware.

I am afraid that somehow, a loose wire may have contacted (12 volts) the thermistor wire and caused a malfunction. I plan to move the pins.h to the other connection tonight and test.

My thought was this was a eeprom or PID issue somehow.

Ok, so I switched to pin1 and this pin reported temp at 459 without a thermistor connected.

So I moved to pin7, this board has 4 inputs. This pin apears to work.

It looks like pin 0 and 1 are bad?

Is there any way to validate this? Do I have a bad chip, board, or ???.
