Changing LCD Display info

I would like to change the LCD display info.
Not sure where to start... So I'll ask!

Right now I have the default display setting:

Nozzle temp ---- Bed temp
Print Time ---- Z Height in mm
(percent?) ---- Percent: SD
Heating Done

Not sure what the '(percent)' is? But I would like to change this to the
number of layers there are in the format of X/Y layers. (Current layer/Total layer)
Also I would like to add a decimal point to the percent completed.

Anyone know how to proceed with these changes?

I've got no help for your actual question, though I'll want to do this, too, eventually. You'd probably be better served posting this over in the Firmware section, because you're going to be making changes to firmware to make it happen.

I can answer your "(percent?)" question. That's a print speed value that you can modify while your object is printing. Want to speed it up? Turn the knob. Slow it down? Other way. I haven't futzed with this except when I accidentally did so, but that's what I'm told it is.
