LCD Panel Center Cutton issue

Hi All!

I have RAMPS1.4 with GADGETS3D LCD attached. In the newest marlin config I have uncommented G3D_PANEL, MOTHERBOARD_TYPE is 33. After the firmware upload display starts to switch between watch screen and menu with frequency one time per second. It behaves like I press the center knob on the panel, but I do not. If I'll press center knob, display start to show two rows of white blocks. It looks like problem with signal of center push encoder. This behavior remains the same with official gadgets3d marlin firmware version without any modifications. Could you please explain me if I,m doing something wrong, or it is the hardware problem?

Thanks for the answers!

I don't have one of these boards / never have seen one - The row of blocks is a reset condition. I'd say it sounds like a short on the encoder center switch.

Gadgets3D LCD Panel

It's your basic 20x4 character LCD, with a rotary encoder, panic button, and an SD reader.

Assuming that this was working before you upgraded your Marlin files (you didn't say one way or the other), it sounds like you have a pin definition wrong. I don't know how much time I spent checking my wiring after I botched a setup and reloaded Marlin from a fresh download.

I'd start with a review of your pins.h.

If you are playing with pins.h and don't know what you are doing, just download a clean copy and replace yours .....
