I have a question about the schematic for Ramps 1.4

Hello everybody! I'm new to the RepRap Project and this is my first post on the forum.

I had a question about this schematic:

RAMPS1.4schematic.png

is that chip (labeled U1 ARDUINO_MEGA_SHIELD) in the top left corner just the shield itself,(and if it is, where can i find a schematic to assemble the shield from scratch without a kit?)
OR is that just showing the arduino?

U1 is the connector on the shield that goes to the Arduino Mega. Basically it's easier for the schematic to treat the large Arduino Mega connector as a huge IC, This way you can place it wherever you want on the PCB when laying things out, the pins are all labelled for you, etc etc. Note that the pins IDs match the Arduino Pin IDs.

Hello, I am new to the forum and wanted to ask where you can fix the file Ramps 1.4 for Fritzing or Eagle?

What I could find is for 1.3 Ramps
