Really simple newbie question on Ramps FD card
March 07, 2014 12:55PM
I bought a ramps fd Version 1A board (yeah now i know I jumped the gun a bit ) to plug into my due to control some motors. I thought I test it with one of my Panucatt SureStepr SD8825 stepper drivers taken from a BeBoPr+ board. The Panucatt driver is a drop in replacement for pololu drivers but my silly problem is I do not know which way round to insert the panucatt driver on the ramps board. I cannot seem to find any information on that. I am hoping that the alignment would be the same as Ramps 1.4 and assuming that is the case I am hoping that someone would point me to a diagram showing which way round the driver board should be.

Thanks
Alan

take a look at [flic.kr]

basically the stepper pins should be on the same side as the stepper connectors

with the SureStepr SD8825 than means that the pins labelled 1a 1b 2b 2a should be on the side of the stepper connector
