Motors not turning - Leds blinding

Hi, a little new to all this building stuff. I own 2 3d printers and i am attempting to build a new one.

Ive bought all the parts and ive nearly finished. However when tiring to test the motors using the "ramps14test.zip" file. I get no motor movement. Im using a 12vott 6amp laptop power supply. The board lights up however the 1 motor that ive connected doesn't seem to do anything. I guessing ive wired it up wrong.

Please see the attached photos

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

You have pluged your driver board (Stepstick) in the wrong way round the pot should be away from the mosfets.

You have probably blown it but can't say for sure.

Thanks, ive changed the driver board around and its now working! but its "jittering" ive changed the screw on the time of the driver board and it either jitters less or stops. Any advice ? also not sure what you mean by the psu inputs? where should i change them to? Thanks

Okay so i have pushed the driver board down now it seems to work. Its fixed the jittering and the motor seems to be working however, the motors are making quite loud noise. Is that normal?

Have you got 3 jumpers installed under the driver chip?

Jumpers enable microsteping and make movement smooth and quiet

You want all 3 jumpers on it to enable 1/16 microstepping.

It follows his table

Where in this case high = jumper in place, and low = no jumper
