untimely reset of the ramps 1.4

Hello,
The reset buttons of my ramps 1.4 is out of service causing untimely reset of the arduino,
It's not a real button anymore, there is no "click" when I push it, instead, a simple touch is enough to action the reset (or the vibration of the printer).
My question is : Can I deactivate the button in the firmware?
Thanks in advance
Dimitri

No. It is hard-wired to the reset pin on the Arduino.

Since it is a normally-open switch, and you'll need to replace it anyway (or not...), you could take needle-nose pliars and peel the cover off and remove the plunger. This will not damage the circuit board, and will still allow operation of the RAMPS board until it is replaced.
