Adding proximity sensor to ramps - need help with logic

Hi all,

I'm adding a proximity sensor for Z min.

it is a DC6-36V PNP NC 4mm Unshielded Inductive Proximity Switch LJ12A3-4-Z/AY

the signal wire reads 12 volts when the sensor is NOT triggered. 0volts when triggered.

I have z min endstop inverting set to false and the pullup resistor is NOT defined.

when I use m119 in repetier, if NOT triggered, it reads TRIGGERED, and when triggered, it reads OPEN.

how do I change this?

I have tried inverting the endstop, but when I do that it always reads open.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with Auto Bed Leveling, however, Thomas Sandladerer's Video above has good directions about setting everything up including firmware. It may help you with your issues.
