Thermistor Error Ramps 1.4 (MINTEMP)

Hi,

I'm new here and building my first 3D printer and I have a number of problems.

For one I am not getting any readings from the thermistors. I measured the resistance to make sure they all work and connected one of them to all three sockets. Still I am getting the MINTEMP error.

Second the y axis is not moving. I switched the motors on the x and y axis, so the stepper is okay. This might be fixable by changing the pins from E1 to Y, but that won't fly without the thermistors working.

The printer is using a Base V1.3 board which combines the Arduino Mega and RAMPS 1.4 electronics.

I fear that there might be a defect on the board, but I have no clue how to check the circuitry.

Did any of you have similar problems or have any idea how to fix these issues?

Thanks for listening to my troubles sad smiley

For the axis issue try the x stepper on the y axis. Most likely your stepper driver is messed up in some way. If it still doesn't work you may want to run y axis off of the extra extruder driver.

For the mintemp error make sure that the wires have continuity. If you have everything selected in the firmware correctly, and the thermistor shows resistance, it is probably a board issue.
