does anybody know of a working touch screen configuration for a ramps 1.4 board.
ive searched around a bit but cant really find a working solution.
all input appreciated

Sure you can use any windows tablet and pronterface to control your printer via touchscreen.
The cheapest one I know is the Toshiba encore WT7-C16.

thanks for the quick reply.
ive been using octopi for a while now and its pretty good but i was thnking something more like a local screen something like
[:RTQ:US:1123" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.ebay.com]

the listing states ramps 1.4 compatible but .............

just not sure how the touch control would work as i dont think marlin allows for it.

If you want to see more, like screenshots etc. visit aliexpress and search for mks tft28.
It's sold for 30US$ there...

But still 30$ is a lot compared to a tablet-PC. I saw some windows tablets with 7" displays for 60€.

Connect it via Bluetooth for convenience.
Slice, store .stl files and control the printer from one device. Use the tablet for anything else beside printing.
The tft28 is a tiny screen for only one purpose.
