Hello, I am building a kossel mini 3d printer and my ramps board arrived some time ago, but when I took a closer look my board came with a diode to be soldered in. What is the purpose of this diode? and should I solder it to the board?

It could be for D1 diode to supply power to the Arduino Mega from the 12vdc 5A input. Look in between where the X and Y stepper drivers mount and see if there is a diode in D1.
