About halfway through lasercutting parts for my first thing-o-matic (taking a break) and was wondering... has anyone made the RAMPS gear work with this printer? I've read several discussions, but nobody has said "I made it work"...

RAMPS will work with any cartesian bot system. You just need to have a stepper based extruder, such as a Wade's (for which there are laser cut versions available.)

i dont see why not has well, i think it would make for a much cleaner design too.

Should do, all that needs changing are the pins.h and the config.
