ramps electronic won't connect with repsnapper. i'v chaned the baud to 112500.

that should be 115200, but it does depend on what firmware you are using? also make sure you have the com port correct. the ardunio software can confirm this for you as it searches for the correct port.

with new new arduino 2560 i have i have issues with getting it to connect, but i think it is now down to driver issues that i hope are fixed in the next arduino update. when ever it is.

i can only get repsnapper to connect if it is the first thing trying to use it, if i use the arduino software i have to unplug it and close all the programs that connect to it.

If you are a Linux user you can check in /var/lock for a file named the same as your usb port after closing the Arduino IDE but before starting Repsnapper. If it is there you can try deleting it (you may need to be admin) and starting Repsnapper.

this was under windows 7 sorry i forgot that, i also had to reflash the usb chip on it too. that took allot longer than i wanted because of driver issues. for my x86-64 version

I have this in XP32 also. Repsnapper can connect if I close everything trying to connect to the printer, unplug the USB, and plug it back in.

yay i am not the only person with that issue. i got to that point reflashing the usb chip and using the driver from the arduino 0018, before i did that i could not even get it to connect outside of the arduino IDE

I don't have to shut down Repsnapper, but yes on the Mega2560 I have noticed the same thing. Really only an issue if I am working on the configuration.h in FW and then testing the print out to get things dialed in.

Confirm your baud in configuration.h
