Hello

I am trying to connect a 3d touch sensor to ramps 1.4 as per geeetech instructions. It looks like there is no power (5V) going to the 3d Touch. The board seems to be working ok. Any ideas ?

The ramps is powered up using the Original Geeetech power supply 12V DC/ 20A

The 5V are fed from the AtMega. Either from the 5V onboard regulator or USB power. If it works with USB power, your onboard regulator is dead.

Did you put a jumper to connect the Vcc and 5V pins on the other side of the reset switch? If not, the "5V" rail on the servo pins have no voltage.

Bingo you are right, i put a jumper and now i have 5V in the aux.

If you have a 1.4 RAMPS, you have to put a jumper on the top 2 of the 3 pins to the left of the reset button. That gives 5v to servo pins.

Forget about 3d touch from geeetech, it is crap. Fails all the time, the coil is not well engineered and the pin will randomly fall, ruining your print
