Hey guys i was never able to set up my fan, i got it plugged in and set this in marlin

#ifndef MOTHERBOARD
  #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB

but the fan just still doesnt work, any ideas?

Should work indeed.

How do you turn on the fan? Are you sure the polarity of the fan is correct?

It may be a board fault, run the ramps test firmware

[reprap.org]

NB it turns all mosfets on then off repeating and moves all stepper drivers...
