Nema 17 motors and electronics

Hello Pare,

Just arrived in Tagaytay from Singapore and about to start my first 3D printer.

Who can give me a good source for motors and electronics in MM/Alabang/Tagaytay?

I am almost complete with a design for a T-slot bot, but looks like I will be starting with a wolfstrap while I source the aluminium (yes I'm a Scot).

Try sourcing out from e-gizmo. they even have arduino boards

[www.e-gizmo.com]

They are located at 2nd Floor, VSC Building, 2313 Taft Ave., Malate, Manila.

Thanks Joeglens.

E-Gizmo did the business. They only sell surplus motors but after a little time I got what I need for the wolfstrap and also some larger motors for a diy cnc machine. Amazed to see they also have a large range of ballscrews at very reasonable prices.

The Gizduino uses Atmega168, and their new micro-stepping card is also just right for a repstrap.

Now I only need to find/buy/make my hot end and extruder.

Amazon.com has cartridge heaters for sale pretty low cost. I think around 15-20 USD

i thinkk e-gizmo's motors are overpriced. maybe outdated.

i'm buying again from ebay. motors are from china. sad smiley methinks it will cost me around 2k including duties and taxes(~25% of cost)

pero kung meron kayong spare, di ko tatanggihan tongue sticking out smiley

@f3rDz

its been too long since i checked e-gizmo prices, but they are the only game in town that I know and maybe they are taking advantage of this and monopolizing the market. Alexan is the close competitor but they mainly sell components and servo motors, i didn't find any stepper motors on their website

Hey BillC54,

Did you source the t-slot aluminum here in the Philippines? I've been looking for suppliers and no seems to know what it is let alone where to find it. If you can please let me know where you got it. Thanks
