We finally have our own group.

The original goal of creating this group was to plan meeting and meet up with other RepRappers. This has been very successful and as of this post we've had two meetings and are planning our third now. If you would like talk RepRap and other Geek related stuff please join us for our next meeting.

Check [forums.reprap.org] for the latest meeting information.

Woot! Thanks for all your efforts to get this forum setup, Brad! And congrats on the MakerBot feature about your Jack-in-the-box!

Thank you for pointing that out John. I wasn't following the Makerbot blog at all. I will be now that I know I get talked about. It turns out if you search "Sublime" I have been mentioned in the past too.

I must not follow enough Blogs. Fell free to send me links when you see me mentioned.

Thanks for having me by the other day, your shop is beautiful and it got me to thinking. You could easily make an Ultimaker, this would solve all the issues you have found on the Prusa.

OK. Will do. I just keep running across your handle every once in a while.

No worries, You should come by again. I have thought about the Ultimaker myself, and kinda wish I had waited a couple of extra weeks and decided to build one instead of the Prusa, but I don't think their instructions/plans were up at the time. Anyhow, I just found out that not only was the Marlin firmware causing me issues (now completely fixed), but my Skeinforge44 had a bug. I was able to finally repeat it, and volumetric was totally broken. I switched back to 41 for now, and it is totally reliable again, and my parts are coming out awesome (thx for pointing out comb and clip and what they really do btw). I am printing out a Mr Maker from Thingiverse and I cannot believe how good it looks. Pix perhaps later today!

I actually decided to Google "Sublime RepRap" and came across a few. It turns out I have gotten attention both for the ingenuity of my designs and for opening pandoras box with my Settlers of Catan tiles [www.thingiverse.com] as some people saw them as possible IP infringement. But most felt they are Legal [www.publicknowledge.org]

what was the issue you were having with marlin? So far from playing with it, it seems to be fairly good and pretty much just sprinter. Would be interested to find out what was causing the issue for you. I cant wait to get my machine up and actually printing, bad luck one after the other over here.

@ ECSuyu

It was an issue with the release prior to Oct 18. If you have a newer version it should be fine, if not you should download the latest commit.
