I dunno if we need a meeting space yet, as there are probably only half a dozen of us at this time (including the guy from Langley). Hell, we could do it in my basement if necessary. VHS does there stuff in a 700sqft closet

Your totally correct. I just thought we may get more people interested if we were in one of the previous mentioned locations as opposed to a basement.
For the first meeting we could even just meet at a coffee shop or restaurant. (what I/we have been doing so far). The only problem with a coffee shop / restaurant is I don't think they would really appreciate having a RepRap printing there. But I may be wrong.
I think maybe the first step would to choose a day of the week/month that works for most people involved.

Well I guess it is up to me to pick a date. I will give a few options and the rest of you can speak up if they work or not.

Thanks for dropping me a PM, otherwise I would never have known about this. Langley works great for me, and usually the weekends are best though sometimes I'd be able to make it on a weekday. Welp, My reprap kit/vitamins showed up, and went together in a couple of hours, not including electronics. I am still building the wiring harness, but the sprinter firmware seems pretty awesome on X/Y and extruder so far. This has been a lot easier so far than my gantry CNC for sure! Fastenal has all the metal parts you need btw.
Mostly just pinging the group to keep it active. Anybody have a preference for meeting time? I would like to see some time in the early evening if it is going to be during the week (7ish perhaps) so those of us with commuting jobs can get home and relax a bit rather than racing for an unmeetable 4:00PM deadline. Weekend: no preference.

congrats on the reprap kit, it looks tough on paper (internet) but assembling it wasnt too hard of a task
As for meeting time if we are going with the 10th or 11th I believe Im good whenever though would probably prefer it to be mid to late afternoon. Would also need to know soon which one of them it is going to be, if we do decide to use either the 10th or 11th as I have quiet an important event to attend to on one of those days.

Sorry I was not ignoring the thread I was just away for a few days.

I should be good for the 14th at 7pm will see you all there. Also Just to clarify as there are a few BPs in Langley, are we talking about the one on the Langley Bypass? Or the one in Aldergrove by 264 or even the one in walnut grove.
