Pathing issue...?

Pathing issue...?

I don't think the title describes it very well but that's the best I could come up with.

Seemingly randomly my mendel will start to only go in the y direction, finish that then do the x.

The attached prints are oriented in the same direction and were printed from the same gcode... Could this be firmware? Or...?

Hi

I also got these, they seem pretty random...

Unfortunately I can't print reliably for now, but I have seen my prusa do this

Also sometimes when printing a hollow cube, it extrudes one filament kind of diagonally across two walls.

?

Someone on IRC mentioned that an endstop and sprinter could cause that pattern... It led me to realize the endstops pwn had been ziptied to the motor wires causing induction interference.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Oh... my endstop signals are routed along the motor wires also.... I should route them elsewhere.
Good thing, I'm going to try it.

Many thanks

We had this problem as well, we had modified our Tonokip code to include logging output on a second serial port. It was causing our y-axis to randomly drift out of place. It went away when we turned the logging off.
