Holes

Guys, interesting problem with my printer. I have very good x, y and z calibration, as tested by printing a test cube. I also have what I consider to be very good print quality, and I have printed a few fairly complicated models. Everything turns out great, except for holes that are generated in the x-z or y-z plane. These holes turn out to be almost ovals. There is no sagging or drooping, but they never come out round.

Any suggestions?

Looks like your e_steps value for the Z axis is too low. If you're using standard 1.25 pitch threaded rod, 2560 is a good starting value.

I'll check it out.

If that were the case, why would a calibration cube come out the correct size in z?
