printing only perimeter (no infill)

I assume that my problem is with Slicr3.

Prints first 2 or 3 layers completely then starts to print perimeter with no infill.

Tried regenerating the STL file and reslicing but same problem.

Funny thing is that it worked well on a part of almost identical sie and shape.

Any ideas?

Um, did you double check your settings so infill is enabled usually lower than 15% will barely fill most areas. and make sure that you selected those settings to slice.

Have you recently upgraded your version of Slic3r? The latest version only infills as required (if that checkbox is ticked). The first time I used it, I went back to my source file to see why my object was so hollow before realising it was the new Slic3r. I like the new setting - much less plastic means much faster prints.

I managed to print without infill, only because I used a comma instead of a period when setting the percentage... Slicer would recognice it as 0 instead of 0.5. Might be that smiling smiley
