Hi,

What could be the cause of this periodic error, most visible in the yellow print, but also present in the blue ?

I think that is what is often referred to as z wobble, I had that happening and in my case it was due to backlash and generally things not being tight and stable

That was the keyword I needed for further investigation.

Some oil on the Z-axis helped a bit, but I still need a bit more adjustments.

It can be a problem with your layerheight and your z-axis pitch.
