Prusa i3 printing problems
June 20, 2015 05:22PM
Hi Everyone, I'm at a loss of what is happening with my printer. I have had my prusa i3 pro c printer from geeetech for almost 2 months and after some tedious configurations my printer has been working wonderfully. Starting yesterday, I have been having a problem where during the print, the y axis will either stop working and make a high pitch winning noise or it will move 100mm instead of 10mm. I have no Idea what the problem is because when I restart it and tell it to move 10mm it works. It seems to have problems about half-way through any print big or small.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

The bed probably didn't have smooth travel or the current are too low

Thanks for the reply sarf2k4, I'll try changing the current but if the current was too low wouldnt it always do that instead of suddenly not working?
