Extruder motor reversed?

Extruder motor reversed?

Good afternoon, everyone!

So I'm new to the world of 3D printing and bought a DIY kit from Geeetech. Assembly went fine and I have it connected to my computer no problem. When I started printing, I noticed none of the filament was coming out. I decided to manually run the extruder and found something interesting. When I click "Extrude", it retracts and when I click "Retract", it extrudes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is what I'm running:
Repetier Host software
GEEETech DIY Prusa i3 dual extruder
Slic3r

Please help!
Matt

You have the motor plugged in backwards. You can either flip the connector or reverse it in the firmware.

Flip the connector around OR change motor inversion for extruder from true to false or false to true.

The way the connections are, they are only able to go in one way. How do I change motor inversion?

Guys, I realized what you meant by the connections were flipped and that seemed to be the issue since its extruding properly. Thanks!
