Suggestion to improve printing Quality
January 12, 2014 10:25AM
Hi Guys,

After a lot of job I've obtained an almost good printing quality (enclose some pics).
I'm printing with e3d hot end and 0,25mm noozzle at 0,1 mm layer height with an i3 single frame printer.

can you give me some suggestion to improve the quality?

Thanks!!!

Alex

I see some banding, do you have Z-wobble? (google it) or can it be that you are using the wrong layer height for your leadscrew steps? Then it will round down the layer height at an 'x' amount of layers causing to consequently squash the next layer.

I would try 0.15 layer and check your E steps. Also i get great results lowering acceleration to about 1500.
