First Prints: a lot of problems
January 27, 2014 03:22AM
Hi all,
i'm trying to calibrate my Prusa I3 to have a good print (I'm using PLA @ 184/182 °)
- I correct configure firmware settings
- I do a M303 to calibrate temperature
- I set main Slic3r settings and print some test part to fit Z height and check temperature

You can see some photo of printed parts at 3d Printing Problems.

The duct is the last part that i made tonight but i'm crying about it... moody smiley

I don't understand if it's a loose movement or retraction or other issue.

Thanks to all

After a calibration night it seem more accurate.

- Z axiz was not align of about 0.2 mm
- Bed was not alliegned
- Recalibrate all Polulo. Extruder Polulo did more power so me motor in long prints start to decrease speed loosing pla extrusion
- Put a small over RAMPS (I don't think that it's necessary with DRV Polulo but...)

I need to resolve some pla issue but I'm happy

The problem is the 1st layers are not planar because pla shrinks and pulls. I print it without heating bed.
The second "problem" is tha i have some holes but I think that i need to infill more
