Hi All,

I've just installed a print fan to the hotend but overhang issues has not improved.

Please can someone advice me what I to do to improve the prints.

My printer is Prusa Mendel i3
Print layer = 0.1
PLA Temp = 190C
Heatbed = 70C
Print environment temp = 28C
Software = Slic3r

I think if you tried combining infill on every 1 layer it would help with those cracks you are getting.

Just in general:
I see there are also bits of plastic at the start and stopping points. There's a print you can use to easily tell how well your retratction is: [www.youmagine.com] It's quiet good because it becomes very obvious if it's working well or not.
You'll want that print to come out nicely.

Next there is temperature. You can change temperature in mid print. Sometimes 3 degrees difference can make quiet a difference.
But I'm fairly sure your prints will improve by setting infill to every 1 layer.

Remove "detect bridging perimeters." I don't know how Slic3r changes things exactly, but it doesn't work. Thinner layers also helps, as it's taking smaller bites on each pass, so there's less area to push plastic into open air.
