Printed parts are scaled down

I just got my first 3d printer working and it prints things that are my smaller than what I put in the g code genorator. I use cura to make the g code and printrun to execute the print. I made a rectangular prism with the x/y being 35mm and after printing it was 23mm. I checked in cura and it said it was 35mm. This happens to all prints, I'm not sure if by the same scale.

Check how far it moves when you manually jog each axis. The steps per mm in your firmware are probably wrong.

It sounds like you have the steps/mm setting wrong in whatever firmware you are using.

Interesting smiling smiley I didn't know you could set belt types in Marlin.
