Slicing Issue, please help a noob

Hello,
I am trying to print the Universal stand-alone filament spool holder [www.thingiverse.com]
For now I only tried to print the centering cone [www.thingiverse.com]

I am having issues with slicing, in particular I only tried with slic3r and cura.

Slicer I could not get it to generate proper support for the locking pin while with cura I cannot either remove completely the raft or having the raft printed under the whole thing.

So what happens when I try to print is with slic3r the locking pin will be generated in air, messing everything up and with cura when the printer try to print the inner circumference external layer, this will also be printed in air...

I tried many different settings, I just cannot get it right.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

The only way I can see that cone being printed is to start it with the small end down on the glass rather than the fat end.

Looks right. There's a plated version shown here [www.instructables.com] with the cone small end down.

Thank you guys,
I really did not thought about making it upside down!

That works!
