dimensional accuracy cura vs slic3r

hi,
I recently tried a version of cura 15 because a particular part refused to slice properly in scli3r. When i printed the part the walls of the part ended up 0.2 mm thicker than what they should be. Then i got curious and printed another part on the same printed one sliced with cura and one with slic3r. This part in slic3r came perfect in dimensions ( wall thickness 2mm came 1.98mm) but in cura it was printed thicker ( 2.2mm) . i need parts to interlock hence the accuracy. Also the parts printed in cura have a rough outer finish like it is putting in more material.

i must be making a mistake somewhere. any cura experts here?

printer 3dr delta
nozzel 0.4mm e3d v6
layer height 0.25mm

Not a Cura expert, but either extrusion multiplier or extrusion width are the values you need to compare between the two slicers.

I am having this exact same problem

and cannot find a solution to it
i think solving the wall thickness part will solve the dimensional inaccuracy i also get.
any help?

I set my perimeter as a multiple of nozzle if nozzle is 0.4 if I set the the perimeter 1.2 it give me three perimeters
