nozzle catching on print ?

nozzle catching on print ?

My nozzle has started to catch on my prints edges after a few layers ive checked that the prints are not lifting of the bed or curling and the my bed is legal can anyone help me out with this as am now scratching my head

Did you calibrate your extruder steps per mm?
It's possible that the printer is overextruding, so that the extruder puts out extra plastic that hits the nozzle on the next layer.

ive found it is poor quality filament when the spool was started it was 1.72-1.74 now its 1.85 -1.88 !!

Got my attention as well. It would be nice to know which brand so we can stay away.

I got it from a market stall in Manchester they were selling it for £7.50 a kg I should have known better but my girlie bargain brain was working and not my thinking brain ! lol
