I´m printing at 45°C on blue painter tape.

A cold glass bed only works with hairspray ( or Lemon Juice )

I have blue tape too, then I'm going to try this setting.

With respect to shifted layers, I tried to check the XY pulleys,
it's very likely they were too strenghted.

But actually I have no reference how strenghtened or loosened the pulleys' bolts should be... and how much friction they should apply.

Olaf, following your suggestion I'm going to replace my hotend's barrel, I noticed to have a straight one in place and maybe (as you said) it creates a gap in the nozzle.
I picked up this one (with Teflon), is it fine? Quite cheap...

Remember that with the lining you can't exceed its temp limit, and this pretty much keeps you from printing anything above 230 degrees. I have an all metal hexagon hotend, but I still can't figure out why a temp limit was put at 220 from the factory.. I don't want to change it in case it was there to keep the world from imploding into a black hole, but I can't imaging that the hexagon stops there.

I´d pick both versions. See if the barrel without Teflon has a smooth surface inside, then I would use this for max. temp. reasons.

If you check the manual of my prusa i3, it has a temp constraint of 250°C.
Now I'm wondering if it's because of the PTFE tube inside the hotend which cannot bear higher temperatures.

I think so. Without the PTFE tube your thermistor can control up to ca. 280°C

Guys I changed PLA brand and I'm getting awful shapes... Check the picture.
The object is upside down, indeed the part in foreground is the first layer.

Retraction is set to 10mm, Retraction Speed 50mm/s, temp 195, bed 60°.
Ambient temperature 32°C

Bed too hot and Extruder too cold?

Did you try calibrating the printer as instructed on the reprap wiki?
http://reprap.org/wiki/Triffid_Hunter%27s_Calibration_Guide

It could be a lot of things. A video of the printing process would help. Also what settings: velocity max, max acceleration, did you properly level the bed, nozzle just touching 80grams printing paper. Retraction speed looks a bit high, I'd use 20 to 30mm/s. 10mm retraction is a bit long, try 2 to 5mm.

How can I solve this underneath mess?

This object is printed with screws stick to the bed,
so basically when it starts bridging there's nothing in the middle to support it and gravity does its own job.

PLA Temp used was 195° heatbed 0° (32° C ambient air) Bridges Speed 60mm/s, Retraction 10mm and Retraction Speed 50mm/s.

As you noticed I haven't tweaked retraction settings yet,
because I was focused to fix the problem shown in my previous post which turned out to be the hobbed bolt not properly aligned to the extruder's bore.

Now I don't know if it's the case to modify them... What do you think? Any hints?
