Getting print centered on bed?

I have got the print test box calibrated now so I get a 20 mm box on all sides now but I can't get the print centered on the bed . Is there something I am missing in marlin to fix this? The print or object is printing is at back right hand corner not in the center of the bed.I am new to this and very confused when it comes to changes in the firmware

I do the placement within the slicer.

I tried doing it in slicer but didn't help or maybe I am not doing it right

Slic3r automatically centers prints. You have to be accurate when you tell it the size of the bed and the home position.

In Slic3r settings, goto "Printer Settings" click "Extruder 1" and see "Extruder Offset". Print a small circle and adjust accordingly. Don't forget to save settings after each change and reslice.
