hello all,
I am trying to print with ninjaflex, I keep seeing the filament stop extruding pretty soon after the print starts. never in the same place. to me it seems like a clog. I know with flexible filament that it can buckle in between the hobbed bold and hot end opening, however once it does stop extruding there is no pull on the filament at all even though the gear is spinning still. I have attached two photos of a print that failed this morning, I was printing at 230 hot end and 40 bed. I am getting alot of crackling sound from the extruder which I think means its at its boiling point. if I lower the temp to say 210, the boiling goes away but then the sputtering and eventually the extruder will get "clogged". to get it unclogged ive been just pulling out the filament and then forcing PLA through since its rigid. then when i feed the ninjaflex back in it will extrude fine.
Also, when I manually extrude 5mm in Pronterface it does not stop extruding. ive done it for awhile and still extrudes fine, but as soon as I start a print it will eventually stop.
any help would be great, the only successful print ive done with it so far was a 20mm cube.
