Help me improve printing quality

Hello, I have 3D printer for a while but still cannot achieve high quality prints.

Issue 1: Gaps
What should I change to solve it?

Issue 2: Filament blobs. After few layers of printing this happens:
Is it possible that these blobs is a result of low quality filament (I am using PLA).

Make sure your extruder is calibrated and it isn't losing steps or slipping.

Might need to print hotter.
What temps and speeds are you printing at?
Do you have the right size nozzle in your slicer software that matches what the printer has?

It looks like under extrusion all around to me. Calibrate the extruder , make sure the nozzle isn't clogged, and then tempreture and speed . I run 30mms at 175 and 100mms at 190 with a .4mm nozzle typically.

Like said above, it seems like your extruder skips or your hotend clogs.
When it fully stops extruding and you stop the print, can you still extrude and pull out your filament without a problem?

You may want to check your stepper voltages.
