Hi everyone,

Im trying to print a helmet and everything was fine until this peice. There is an over hang and cura only generates one tiny support. Of course it broke during the print 5 hours in.

Can I generate more rafts are widen the current one up. Im new to 3d printing so Im not sure wich settings will help.

i dont know if you can make the supports bigger in cura or not. what are you trying to print? in simplify3d you can place your own supports but that cost a bit of money. there are other free options i think meshmixer has an option to add supports.

if im wrong im sure someone will correct me but id start there.

Change the minimum angle from 45 to like 20 or so and it will add more support,

It would be better to redesign the part or print upside down or sideways or add your own supports in the design.Very rarely do I use any supports
