Changing acceleration/deceleration?

How do i adjust the acceleration and deceleration of my 3d printer, when it does infill in tight spots it changes direction so violently it shakes my table, this also causes the bed to move slightly completely screwing up the print. Slowing down the print does kind of alleviate the issue somewhat.
Does the slicer have these settings, i'm using slic3r, or is it in the firmware? Its a qu-bd revolution xl with an azteeg x1.
Recently played around with a makerbot replicator 2 and and it decelerated before the direction change so smoothly i want my printer to do the same

There are two things you can change in firmware or write the lines in the startcode of your slic3r:
M201 ; set acceleration/deceleration

M566 ; set yerk ( in RRF )
Other firmware like Marlin allow you to change yerk setting via LCD and store them in Eeprom ( if enabled )
