Layer Shift of some Layers, Print recovers after the Shift

Hello,

i am ne to this forum. I need some help with my self build Printer. I am running Marlin 1.1.8 on RAMPS 1.4. For the Axes i use some big Driver (DQ542MA). It is a huge Printer (940*650*310 mm) For the Extruder i use a E3D Vulcano.

For now i am not trying to print big, but to get the Printer to his best precision with a 0.6 mm Nozzle. Testing the Axes, max Speed and so on.

I attached my Marlin configuration. I use Bilinear BL otherwise where is nothing special. Fade Height is 0.2mm

I have a issue in my Print there i really don't know there to look at to solve it.

After some Layers printing normal. The printer shifts the x-axis for a various count of layers. But after that it prints normally and at the right position. I made some pictures of the issue.

I tried different Slicers. Different Objects. Different Speed, Accelerations and Jerks.

What can cause a issue like that?

Also i have some issues with ABL but this ist more interesting with big Prints.

A little shift like that is often a loose pulley on the stepper

In particular a stepper with a flat on the shaft, with the grub screw loose it can move 90 odd degrees without rotating.

Draw a line on your stepper and pulley, make sure it not moving (line will break)
