A most epic print fail

A most epic print fail

Someone was running the Prusa I3 at the makerspace a few days ago and started a print using the wrong printer profile. The result was absolutely incredible!

While it might be possible to clean off the heater block and free up the thermistor leads with a few hours of work and a heat gun, I think I'm just going to order new parts. We'll also have to print a new fan bracket or two.

I have learned to always expect the unexpected at the makerspace!

No, that wasn't that new marshmallow filament you've heard so much about. It was plain ol' ABS.

yes the "Cat o' nine tails" is strongly recommended for not watching the printer for even just a few minutes.
