Wrong calculation of feedrate [g1 F] parameter in Slicer
November 20, 2020 10:38AM
Hi,

I am trying to print with new type of material. The manufacturer said that I could use existing ABS printing profile in Slicer, however on some specific lines I exceed the F value. I need to set some specific Slicer parameter, that would generate the F value in the right way. Limiting F value to all g.code is not good solution for me because the printer would print too slowly (currently I am using PrusaSlicer or Slic3r, but I am more than willing to use different slicer if it gets me that possibility)

For example there is a line in g.code: "G1 F4800" but i know that i need to have the value max of about "G1 F1200" (it is for printing infill). What specific parameter of Slicer I need to modifiy to get that desired values?

(Based on excel analysis there are about 2660 wrongly defined F values - printing on the lowest feedrate would be painfully slow, manually updating g.code would be too work)

Thank you for any reply!
Dan
